Kollektiv Tod

The kollektiv tod publishing house was founded in 2006 in the Friedrichshain district of Berlin. It was established for the purpose of portraying the rapid changes in the neighbourhood and the people living in it. In 2007, the first collaborative work was published, called: Der "Friedrichshainer Totentanz"/ "Friedrichshainer Death Dance".

This book has shaped the thematic orientation of the publishing house: Death and Social Critique, the best is both together.

There are enough dependencies, that is why we create, print and publish our artist books ourselves. The shape and look of a book is usually defined by its content. Kollektiv tod is made up of an eclectic comic section: chick's hell trash productions. As artists and printers we enjoy the freedom to make books.
